Relief & Rehabilitation
 Operation Mobilization India has been actively involved in bringing relief and rehabilitation to victims of natural disasters and communal violence. Most recently the largest projects focused on the cyclone victims of Orissa (1999) and the earthquake victims of Gujarat (2001). Ongoing rehabilitation in both of these areas is bringing positive change to devastated communities. OM India has placed a permanent holistic ministries team in Orissa and placed long term workers in earthquake-affected areas of Gujarat state.
 Relief and rehabilitation work is one way OM India can show God’s love in practical ways. Though the effectiveness of this work requires a painstaking level of cooperation with government agencies and careful partnership with other aid organizations, OM India feels the outcome is well worth the effort. OM India has seen lives dramatically changed as a result of relief and rehabilitation work. During a natural calamity, hope drains from the lives of the victims. OM India’s work returns the hope to these people and offers them a solution to life’s disasters.
