| Sharing the Gospel
on One of OM's Ministry Ships
What do those people on the OM ships really do? Cruise the
seas on a continual sightseeing tour? Jeff Seeger, from Minnesota,
can tell you they do a little of everything. In his two years
onboard an OM ship, Jeff has worked in the engine room and
the ministry office, preached to crowds in Africa and Asia,
led a band that performs in outreaches, and taken countless
opportunities to present the Gospel in schools, prisons and
on the streets.
In Port Elizabeth, South Africa, young people better understand
missions opportunities because Jeff's team spent weekends
teaching in some of the churches. In Cape Town, prisoners
and public school students learned of Jesus through Jeff's
Gospel presentations. Days in Tanzania included preaching
in a local church, performing a concert for 1,000 youth, showing
the Jesus film, and coordinating street outreaches. As the ship moves from port to port, country to country,
Jeff's commitment to do all he can for God and the Gospel
keeps him busy and reaches into the lives of others. He says,
"It is always amazing to see the opportunities for ministry
that we have and the impact the ship has on people. So what
do those people on the OM ships do? They make a difference.
Good News at School
"Thank you for coming to our school and teaching us about Christmas and Jesus," wrote a child after seeing a puppet play about toys performed by Joe Ridgley. Joe, from Maryland, with his wife, Jan, from Scotland, live in the UK where Joe leads a creative arts ministry reaching children.
Polish Youth
Paul and Andrea, from California, work in Poland where they point young people to a relationship with Jesus Christ. They have made friends among youth who are eager to hear about the hope they can have in Christ. |
