Overseas Partnerships
We desire to develop mutually beneficial partnerships between local churches and OM teams that will connect the mission strategy and goals of your church with those of our teams. By working together we can advance the work of the Kingdom of God at home and abroad. This type of partnership enables more of your church members to utilize their personal gifts, talents and resources in helping fulfill the Great Commission.
Through synergistic partnerships that involve listening, praying, sending, going and/or giving, your church can glorify God as you:
- make the Gospel of Jesus Christ accessible to people who have never heard of Him.
- strengthen existing churches and plant new churches where none exist.
- disciple and train Christians to reach people with the Gospel.
- demonstrate God‘s love by bringing aid and relief to the hurting and needy.
- encourage the spiritual growth of your church members as they serve God in another culture.

"I feel that the vision trip to China was a complete success. Not only did it allow our team to gain first hand knowledge and experience about the region and its people, but we also were educated in what God is doing in and around the DX (unreached people group). There are two major ways that our trip has helped and will continue helping SAVE Ministries decide on a partnership to reach the DX. First, our team members had an opportunity to understand what the term unreached truly means. You can read about statistics and numbers all day, but when you step foot in the physical place and interact with the people, I feel God has a way of impacting you on a more personal and heart level. Second, the vision trip allowed members from our church to experience a temporary working relationship with a member of a sending agency. Since this idea of partnering with a sending agency is new for our church, this provided a great way to build relationships and trust between the agency and a group within our congregation."

Church planting is an integral part of our mission strategy.
In many of our fields (i.e., Turkey, France, Ireland, India, the Middle East and Central Europe) this is the primary objective. In those countries and in most OM fields our short-term teams often work with national church planters or missionaries in assisting church planting.
There is a strong emphasis in India, our largest land-based program, to prepare national workers in training with OM. Scores of OM alumni in India are involved in church planting. OM teams are also engaged in the friendship evangelism/Bible study/discipleship/church-planting process in Europe and the Middle East/North Africa and Central Asia.

Since most of our church-planting efforts are conducted in cooperation with other national and international missions, churches tend to be structured according to the background of those persons or agencies.
