How I feel or don't feel has nothing to do with whether I do or don't
worship. Worship is like breathing; I do it to live. Some mornings I wake
up feeling discouraged, disheartened, and defeated. That is when my
choice to wallow or worship unmasks the real me, exposes an x-ray of
the mettle and matter of my naked soul, and determines if I fight the battle
of faith for joy in Jesus or puddle up in despair. And the paradox is that
worship itself is one of the mightiest weapons deployed in my holy war
for a lifestyle of worship.--Chip Kirk
It is the process of being worshipped that God communicates His
presence to men.--C.S. Lewis
Worship changes the worshiper into the image of the One worshiped.
--Jack Hayford
Jehoshaphat appointed those who were to sing to the LORD and praise
Him in holy attire, as they went before the army and say, "Give thanks
to the LORD for His steadfast love endures forever." And when they
began to sing and praise, the Lord set an ambush against (their enemies.)
