Money, or rather the lack of it, used to consume plenty of my thoughts. The
day came when I realized money had become an idol in my life. Integrity
and gut-level honesty demanded I do one of two things. One was to build
an alter with a big dollar sign on it, and then religiously bow down and burn
incense to it every morning. The other was to call it for what it was, repent
of my hideous idol worship, and return my full affections to my Father who
promised to provide all my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ
Jesus. Do you need to consider building any altars and buying incense?
