Before he was cast out of heaven Satan was an anointed guardian cherub (Ezekiel 28:14, 16), the perfect, and very likely the lead, angelic worshiper of God. Because of his wicked lust for self-worship he was cast out of heaven and is now a cursed, destroying devil and the lead hater of the worship of God.
