OM Medical Ministries seeks to mobilize medical professionals who have a passion for God and for people and who desire to help reach the nations with the Gospel.

Because of OM's worldwide presence, practitioners can go to specific countries from year to year, yet still make a long-term difference. The 4,000+ long-term workers of OM will be there to address the ongoing physical and spiritual needs of those to whom you minister.  This truly makes your short-term investment have long-term benefit.

Opportunities exist for short-term missions teams, disaster response teams, ongoing health projects, long-term service, and financial support.  All health professionals including dentists, nurses, doctors, EMTs, therapists, pharmacists, and counselors are needed.  Medical mission work is also an excellent opportunity for non-medical people to show God's love in a tangible way.

A typical trip is 7 to 10 days in length, staying in humble conditions to live as those around us live.  Days begin and end with devotions to keep our eyes and heart on the real reason we are there.  Clinic days involve caring for patients and providing medicines for free.  Team members will work in triage to register and run tests, help fill prescriptions in pharmacy, assist in clinic flow and crowd control, and participate in creative outreach projects depending on team size.

Trip costs posted include everything you will need from arrival in the foreign airport to your return at the end of the ministry.  Transportation, lodging, food (local, not Western), translators, medicines, and administrative fees are all included in the costs.
